A typical event activation often stops at leaflets, a QR form, or a contest that is hard to connect with actual participant movement. Markerra offers a cleaner model: the participant sees an event mission in the app, reaches points, scans QR or taps NFC, and builds progress. Each checkpoint can represent a stand, product demo, partner zone, or program moment.

This helps the brand guide people toward the places that matter. The campaign does not need to be long. Three to five points can be enough: start at the stand, scan near a product demo, visit a partner point, and finish with a reward code. For larger events, the route can connect zones and create a reason to move through the venue.

Events move quickly, so the interaction must be obvious. Participants need to know how many points they have collected, what remains, and how to claim the benefit. Markerra handles duplicates, invalid markers, and optional location checks at scan time. If the event takes place indoors or in a complex venue, the geofence setup must match real GPS conditions.

After the event, the client receives aggregated reporting: how many people entered the activation, how many points were collected, which places performed best, and how many participants reached the reward. That helps evaluate real engagement rather than only declared reach.
